Baxter is a very stout 1,100 lb 14.1 hand, 8 year old pintaloosa draft cross (spotted draft/appaloosa) who can be ridden english or western by children and adults, as he takes up a lot of leg and can carry larger riders. He loves to trail ride alone or in a group and will lead or follow, crosses bridges, water, trappy conditions, carefully walks over logs (will also jump them if asked), also will not get upset if horses pass him or leave him behind.
Baxter is the same on and off property as we have taken him on to multiple hunter paces, a day long trail ride at James River State Park where we stood tied to a tree during lunch, and an obstacle challenge clinic. We introduced Baxter to hunting correctly late summer by taking him on houndwalks where he never batted an eye. He has been hunting 2nd and 3rd flight with Bedford Hunt during early season and plan to continue to hunt him until he finds his forever home. In the arena he will walk, trot and canter and has jumped up to 2’3 with ease. More of a kick ride, but has his own motor once he’s in gear. Baxter has been used for beginner and intermediate riding lessons, but we believe he would love to have his own person or family.
His training will continue until he finds his place. Best suited for an advanced beginner and up as he started late and is still green. Price to increase with training and experience, PPE with clean navicular and hock radiographs in hand.

Mac is an absolute doll. He is the sweetest boy who has an incredibly willing attitude and always aims to please. We purchased him as a coming three year old, and have taken our time with him on the ground and have allowed him to grow slowly and correctly.
He’s just getting started under saddle and has never offered anything other than a whole lot of try. Mac has his whole life ahead of him and we expect him to become a fantastic field hunter and all around type horse who will dabble in the hunter/jumper arena, go eventing, trail ride, and become someone’s forever best friend.
He’s absolutely a farm favorite and catches everyone’s eye, while also capturing their hearts. His price will increase with training and experience – we love him so much that he’s welcome to stay forever, and will therefore be highly selective on his placement. Expected height 16+ hands.
Solo MSF

-
Breed – Draft Cross (Belgian x Morgan?) Registered AWSSR

Solo MSF is a fancy, more refined draft cross with a strong uphill build and lofty gaits. Rated Blue Preferred and Reserve Grand Champion at his AWSSR inspection in July of 2022, Solo is poised for a successful future in the dressage, hunter/jumper and/or eventing disciplines, as well as developing a foundation to be a field hunter.
Solo began his life as a pet for a child, so he’s incredibly sweet, comes running to the gate when called, and loves attention. We purchased Solo in the fall of 2022 and have been progressing through groundwork quickly as he’s incredibly smart and eager to please.
The goal is to have him going lightly under saddle this fall as he is still growing. We expect Solo to finish around 15.2 hands. Only offered to a professional or a junior/amateur with a professional trainer at this time as he is not yet started.
